Masque Intense Régénérant is Kérastase's youth revitalizing mask from the Chronologiste range. Infused with hyaluronic acid and abyssine, it is built for hair weakened by the signs of aging: dryness, dullness, loss of volume and thickness, and frizz. The rich balm softens the hair fiber, makes detangling easier, and helps seal in moisture, so aging hair regains a feeling of suppleness and health.
The texture glides from roots to ends and forms a protective film on the surface of the hair that shields it from external aggressors. Hair is left in the signature Chronologiste fragrance — freesia, rose and marine notes over bergamot and orris, closing on musk, white flowers and patchouli — which is what turns the step into the sensorial ritual the range is known for. WHO IS IT FOR
Hair weakened by the signs of aging. Kérastase's own reading is that hair ages much as skin does, and it names five visible signs — dryness, dullness, lack of volume, lack of thickness and frizz — that this mask is aimed at. The brand states the product suits all hair types, but that it is primarily for hair showing those signs. It is a rinse-out mask used after shampoo, so it fits into a routine you already have rather than adding one. Unlike a traditional mask it is not restricted to the lengths: the brand says it can be gently massaged from scalp to ends to hydrate and soothe the scalp as well.
HOW TO USE
1. Gently squeeze the excess water from your hair with a towel.
2. Take a generous amount and apply it from the roots to the ends, distributing it evenly.
3. Leave the mask on for five minutes so the rich balm can penetrate and fortify the hair fiber.
4. Emulsify with a little water, then rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear and the hair feels smooth.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
Hyaluronic Acid — moisturizes and hydrates both the scalp and the fiber, plumping the fiber for a fuller effect.
Abyssine — invigorates and revitalizes the fiber, and gives the finish its polish.
